Are you our new Project Manager?

Aurora Records releases music by composers and performers from the Norwegian contemporary music scene. Our releases aim to contribute to a diverse musical landscape, both nationally and internationally.

Our current project manager is moving on to a new position, and we are looking for her successor in a 20% position.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and evaluate project proposals for release in collaboration with the artistic council

• Coordinate and manage physical and digital music releases in collaboration with composers and performers

• Contribute to the further development of the company

• Follow up with distributors, suppliers, and other partners

• Budget responsibility

• Communication work through website, newsletters, social media, and press releases

• Management and promotion of Aurora’s catalogue

• Reporting to the board and general manager

We are looking for someone with experience from the music field, preferably with work related to the release of new music or similar production work. Experience with project development and grant applications is an advantage. We encourage applications from a diverse range of qualified candidates with different backgrounds and experiences.

The work is flexible and can be adapted to the project manager’s other activities.
Salary by agreement.

Aurora Records is owned by the Norwegian Society of Composers, which has overall responsibility for the company. Since 2021, Aurora Records has been organized as an independent limited company with its own board. The general manager of the Society is secretary to the board. The company also has an additional project manager resource who assists in selected tasks.
