Sceneweb and Aurora Records are collaborating on the preservation, documentation, and dissemination of music created for performing arts productions in Norway's independent scene! This initiative makes music for the stage digitally accessible in a way that ensures both sound quality and copyright protection, while also highlighting the theatrical context in which the music was created. The pilot project addresses the field's need for effective solutions to present both older and newer music written for performing arts productions with artistic and historical value. With support from the "Other Music Initiatives" scheme (Norwegian Cultural Fund), we will release four recordings during 2024.
